Dorothy Thomas

Mrs. Dorothy Mae Jordan-Thomas was born in Lapile Arkansas to Precious “Jelly-Roll” Jordan on October 21st, 1952. She United with First Baptist Church at an early age.  She attended both the North-Side School in Huttig and Huttig High School.  Family and friends called her “Dorothy Mae”, she enjoyed shopping, cooking, and being with family especially her grandsons.

Dorothy united in marriage to Jessie Thomas in St. Louis, Missouri.  She later returned to Huttig, AR to be with her family.

She was preceded in death by her Mother Precious “Jelly Roll” Jordan,  her brother Grady Dawkins, Jr., and her beloved Uncles, and Aunts  that she loved dearly.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband Jessie Thomas of St. Louis, Mo, her 3 daughters Brandie Jordan, Shelia Jordan of Huttig, AR, and Jessica Thomas of El Dorado, AR.  Her 2 sisters Betty Ruth Williams (Johnny) and Donnie Mae Jordan both of Huttig, AR. 

Her grandsons Demarcus Baker and Markevious Jordan.  And a host of nieces, nephews, and relatives, and extended family, and friends.
