Diane Jenson

August 28, 1962 — January 10, 2022

 

 

Diane Brown Jenson was born to Nannie Tubbs and Billy Thigpen of Louisiana. She was loved by her friends and family.

 Diane attended Junction City High With the class of 1981. She was an avid sports fan, especially basketball; her favorite teams were the Junction City Dragons, The Heat, and the Bulls. Diane worked in several occupations, from Catering, caregiving to helping others in her local community, where she also rendered cleaning services for First Baptist Church 200 Main. Diane was also a cheerleader, Volleyball, and basketball player at Junction City High school. She attended church services with Restoration Ministries under the Late Elder T. Smith merging with old Path C.O.G.I.C, Where Supt. Joseph McMurrian is the pastor.

 

 Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Nanne Tubbs and Billy Thigpen, her brother Jerry Wayne Tubbs and her Great Grand Parents.

 

Her loving memories will be cherished by her children Kamisha Brown, of El Dorado, AR, and Jerrell Jenson, of Denver, Colorado. Her two Grandchildren Dalayah Sawyer and Kamaurieon Brown, both of El Dorado, AR, three brothers Ricky Tubbs of Oak Grove, La, Lawrence Brown of El Dorado, AR, and Billy Mayfield of El Dorado, AR, three sisters Carolyn Brown of El Dorado, AR, Luster Ann Brown Jacobs (Lee Jacobs) of Suisun, CA, and April Thigpen of Summerfield La. Her Five aunties, Lavon Holyfield, Vera Meadows, Mattie Meadows, and Mary Smith, all of Lousiana and Dorothy Elmo of Georgia. Three uncles, Chester, Harvey, and Larry Tubbs, all of Houston, TX. Her Special nephews Shermaine Brown, Little Rock, AR, Dante Washington, Antioch, Ca, Lemonta Jacobs, Suisun, Ca, and Jerry Pichard, OakGrove, La, six special nieces Tameka Washington, Antioch, Ca, Shalonda Brown, Vallejo, Ca, Arianna Tubbs, Little Rock, AR, Rique Tubbs, Little Rock, AR, Ansley Buggs, Summerfield, La, Shaneta Brown, Antioch, Ca, Five great-nieces and eight great-nephews. A special cousin Barbara Gail Holyfield, Special Friend Janice Hicks, and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
