Derrick D. Tidwell II

Brother Derrick Demario Tidwell II "Babe Babe" was born to Derrick Dewayne I and Ida Faye Ford Tidwell.

He united with Beulah Grove Baptist Church in El Dorado at an early age. He later united with Victory Bible Church and then with Free Spirit.

He received Jesus as his personal Savior. He always talked about Jesus. He would say, "If it's the Lord wills," or "If the Lord says the same."

He was employed at Mac's Cash Saver for eight years, where he never missed a day. He was faithful to his job.

Derrick was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Willie Lee Smith and Maggie Lee Tidwell, and grandfathers, Harito Ford Jr. and Bennie Tidwell; brother, Sheppard Dorakee Johnson Sr.; bonus brother, Eric.

He was united in holy matrimony to Tansha S. Henry on September 16, 2005.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Tansha S. Henry; sons, Derrion Tidwell and Derrick D. Tidwell III; and five daughters, Tytiana, Dasheka, Sandra LaFaye, Kiana, and Datasia Tidwell. His grandchildren include Arize Castro, Mariah Thompson, Aaliyah Sinners, and Xaylen Tidwell. He also leaves his mother, Ida Faye Ford Tidwell; stepfather, Earnest Johnson; brother, Roderick Johnson; Bonus brothers, Dewayne, Andre, Rodney, Earnest Lamar, Marcus; and sisters, Jackie, Arich, Latonia, and Regina. Special friends of the family include Robbie and Donna Williams. His special cousins include Johnney Moody Jr, Joey Moody, Shonda Moody Thurston, Jeffery Boone, DeShun Neal, Jeremie Ross, Shell Thurman, Lakenya Hill, and Tyronda Modica; uncles, Curtis Charles Stephens, William and Dale Tidwell; aunts, Ruby Lee Meeks, Annie Ruth Ford, Joyce Moody, and Ruth Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, extended family, and friends.
