Demarcus Cooper

Demarcus was born July 8, 1988, in Ruston, LA to Barbara Ann Cooper and Willie Vernon. To know him is/was to love him. Demarcus was a very outgoing personality. He was fun-loving and if you had the chance to meet him, trust, you would never forget his bright smile and the loving way he would greet you. "Marc", as he was commonly called, was an aspiring entrepreneur. He loved music and he had already begun his career. He had his own recording label, and he has written and performed many of his own lyrics.

He was an inspiration to many new and upcoming ambitious rap artists everywhere. Demarcus loved his children and was, they say, the best dad ever. Family was important to "Marc". He was always making someone laugh. If you were having a bad day, just wait until "Marc" was around. You would have forgotten all about what was going on. Marc was all about enjoying the life one was blessed with. He never met a stranger. He was a comedian in his own right. If you didn't laugh or smile when he was around, you would have to be from another planet. Demarcus attended Community Church of God in Christ for many years. Under the tutelage of Bishop R.E. Matheney. Marc was very active in the Church, and he was well known for the way he could teach the children and adults.

He was blessed with the gift of expounding on The Word of God. Marc was employed for many years at Wal-Mart and Home Depot in El Dorado. He was admired by everyone he encountered. He was faithful to God, family, friends, and coworkers until The Lord called his name and he answered. Demarcus was preceded in the call by his grandmother: Maggie Mae Winzer; Great Grandparents: L.T. and Lena Mae Tibbs; Three Great Aunts: Essie Burns, Jessie Land, and Olivia Abney; Two Uncles: Andre and Larry Vernon.
