David "Scooter Bug" Lee Reeves

Our beloved David L Reeves was born to the late David Reeves and the late Willie Mae Anderson on May 15^th, 1949 in El Dorado, Arkansas.

David attended El Dorado Public Schools and a very proud graduate of the Class of 1967 from Booker T. Washington High School in El Dorado.  He also attended AM&N College in Pine Bluff Arkansas.

David was enlisted in the U S Army from September 1970 through March 1972.

David started attending New Hope on April 15^th, 2012 and later joined on September 12^th, 2012. On August 28^th, 2016, David was licensed to preach at New Hope Baptist Church, Vivian La under Dr. Joseph Gladney.  He was involved with the Sunday School Ministry and also affiliated with North Caddo District Association.

David passed from this life December 8^th, 2019 at McClellan VA Memorial Hospital, Little Rock Arkansas.

He loved being around his family and friends.

David was proceeded in death by his daughter Shandra D. Reeves, his father David Reeves, his mother Willie Mae Anderson, step-father Earl Anderson and brother Donald R. Preston.

David’s great life will be forever cherished by his three children: Ramona L. McCoy (John) and David N. Reeves of Warren Ark, Mondrek J Reeves of El Dorado Ark.   His siblings 8 brothers: Jerry (Francine) Hampton of Wichita Falls, Tx, Freddie Anderson El Dorado Ark, Bob (Annette) Anderson of Houston Tx, Richard (Tenesha) Anderson of Belle Glade, Fl, Michael (Gloria) Anderson of Carrolton Tx, Kelvin (San) Anderson of Benton, AR, Toby (Tarondalette) Anderson of White Hall AR and Patrick Anderson of Melbourne Fl.   His 5 sisters: Dora (late Herbert) Johnson El Dorado AR, Joyce (Robert) Huggard of Denver Co, Regina Anderson of Germany, Maria (Terry) Daniels of Milwaukee WI and Vicky (Barry) Dobson of El Dorado.  He also leaves 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

David’s life will also be cherished by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
