Datrina General

Datrina L. General was born December 15, 1981, to Leona Browning and Herman Thurman. At an early age, she joined fellowship Baptist Church and later joined Bouldware Temple under Superintendent Kelly Owens.

Datrina passed on Friday May 18, 2018. She preceded in death by her father, Herman Thurman; her brothers, Raymond Miller, Grady Browning and Paul Browning; a sister, Annie Anderson; her grandmother, Nora Miller; uncles, Pete Miller, Jr., and Auther Miller; aunts, Gladys Henry and Joyce Henry.

The life she lived will be cherished by her three brothers: Alvin Miller and Herman Thurman Jr., both of El Dorado, AR and Larry Miller (Carla) of Dallas, TX;  four sisters, Pearlene Williams (Jerry), Teresa Browning, Erica Browning, and Pattie Waller (Marcus) all of El Dorado. Her life will also be cherished by five brothers she loved as her own, Isiah Thurman, Larry Thurman, Alan Thurman, Albert Thurman and Demetrius Burns all of El Dorado, AR, along with her two sisters she loved as her own, Vivian Thurman of El Dorado, AR, and Merinda Thurman of Houston, TX; two uncles, Anderson Miller, and Desmond Miller both of El Dorado, AR; finally, a host of nieces, nephews that truly love her, friends and a special friend Rabie Marable.

Open visitation will be Friday, May 25, 2018 from 11:00 am - 4:30 pm at Sims Mortuary. The family hour will be Friday, May 25, 2018 from 5:00 - 6:00  pm at Shady Grove Baptist Church. Funeral services Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 2:30p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church with Superintendent: Kelly Owens, officiating.
