Cynthia Williams

Cynthia Williams was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She departed this world on August 24, 2023.  
Cynthia was born to Jamie & Velma Clemons Shutes on March 14, 1965. She attended Sunlight C.O.G.I.C. under the leadership of Supt. L. C. Cook, Supt. Charles Booker, Pastor Herbert Ridgell, and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age.

She also attended Olive Branch Baptist Church during her young life under watch care. She later established and founded Faith Temple C.O.G.I.C., along with her husband, Pastor Jimmy Williams, Sr. She served as District Miss’y for the Greater El Dorado District for ten years under Supt. Kelly Owens, then District Miss’y for the Fairview Fellowship District, under Supt. Terry Johnson. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Annie Shelton, and her grandparents. 

She was united in holy matrimony to Pastor Jimmy Williams. 
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, two sons, Theodore Patrick Russell and David Victor Willie King, three daughters, Velmecia Shirleese Russell (Covan), Erica Genise Muse (Michael), Latoya Jaleese Jacques (Joseph), a special daughter, Shalunda Renee Montgomery (Derrick). Bonus Children: Jimmy Williams Jr. (Danielle), Stephanie Battle (LaDarius), survived by eight sisters; Velma Dianne Tubbs (Wilbert Jr.), Janie Mae Miller (Rev. Jimmy), Margie Dell Owens (Supt Kelley), Emma Dell Wofford (Pastor John), Angie Lee Banks, Mary Jean Cosby (Jerrel), Lesia Mashell Marshell (Bobby), Arlinda Rena Cooksey. 3 brothers; Jamie Shutes Jr. (Maria), Rodrick Barnett Shutes, Vernon Lee Shutes. 21 Grandchildren & one Great Grandchild. A host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
