Cynthia Lynn Ross Easter was born on May 13, 1964, to the late Gwendolyn Ross Landers. She was lovingly raised by her late uncle, Bobby Dean Ross, in El Dorado, Arkansas. She attended El Dorado High School and graduated in 1982. After graduation, she attended SouthArk Community College, where she earned her nursing degree and became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). She began her career as a dialysis technician and later advanced to a nursing position at SouthArk Nephrology, now known as DaVita Dialysis.
On March 21, 1992, she united in holy matrimony with Sheldon Gewon Easter, Sr., of Junction City, Arkansas, at Salem Missionary Baptist Church. During their loving union, they raised three beautiful children together.
Cynthia lived her life for her children - IYKYK. She enjoyed talking on the phone, being a little nosey, and shopping at Goodwill. She was known as one of the funniest people around. Cynthia dearly loved St. John Missionary Baptist Church and "Passa" (Rev. Dobson), and she loved Gospel music. She enjoyed the simple things in life: spending time with family, enjoying a good pot of greens and ham hocks, watching football, riding around Little Rock with her daughter and sister, and sitting quietly by the river.
Cynthia Lynn Ross Easter departed this life on May 7, 2026, at Baptist Health Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her mother, Gwendolyn Ross Landers; her uncle, Bobby Dean Ross; her maternal grandparents, Phillip and Idella Ross; two aunts, Thelma Ross White and Gladys Ross West; and five uncles, Eddie Ross, Milton Ross, Phillip Ross, Sr., Dewey Ross, and Pete Ross, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memory: one daughter, Traci Nicole Easter of Little Rock, Arkansas; three sons, Brandon Keith Landers (Shatonja) of Benton, Arkansas, Sheldon Gewon Easter, Jr. of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Cameron Gabriel Easter of Little Rock, Arkansas; one brother, Ralph Steven Ross of New Orleans, Louisiana; one sister, Karen Ann Ross of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Brielle Landers and Bryson Landers; two nephews, Justin Michael Ross and Nickolas Ross; one niece, Niya Marie Ross; one great-niece, Emmy Marie Burns; one great-nephew, Justin Ross, Jr.; and a host of cousins, family, and friends.
