Cleothis Jamerson Jr.

On September 20, 1965, Cleothis Jamerson Jr. was born to EvaNell Buggs and Cleotha Jamerson.

Cleo joined First St. James at a young age, where he was taught about the love of God and family values. In his adult years, Cleo united with Evergreen Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Eddie Yarbrough. He was ordained deacon, usher, and youth department president. After many years, Cleo moved his membership to St. James Baptist Church, led by the late Bishop Dr. George Calloway Jr., where he remained a faithful deacon and member until his health started to decline.

He attended and graduated from El Dorado High School, class of 1984. Cleo was an avid Wildcat fan and loved to tailgate with fellow classmates, family, and friends. "Once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat!"

Cleo was a selfless, kind, and caring man who loved the Lord, life, and, most importantly, his family. For 25+ years, Cleo served his community as a law enforcement officer. During Cleo's tenure with the El Dorado Police Department, Union County Sheriff's Department, and as the State of Arkansas First School Resource officer, he has touched and inspired many lives, both old and young.

After he departed from law enforcement, Cleo stepped into the industrial field at Clean Harbors, where he remained until he became ill. He found joy in cooking and baking, thus creating CC's Chew, LLC.

November 10, 2007, Cleo united in Holy Matrimony to Cacita Wade. Together, they created a beautiful blended family.
