Christopher Collins

Christopher Cortez Collins Sr. was born to the late Albert Thurman Sr. and Schell Thurman on January 25, 1989, in El Dorado, AR.

He made his heavenly entrance on December 10, 2022. He accepted Christ at an early age at Shady Grove Baptist Church. He attended El Dorado High School and was a part of the class of 2007.

He was employed at Window Mart in Hot springs, AR. He loved spending time with his son CJ and his family.

Christopher is preceded in death by his father, Albert Thurman Sr, and four grandmothers, Ruby Meeks, Willie Lee Smith, Lois Miller, and Carrie Tubbs. Two grandfathers, T.L. Meeks and Ray Collins. One aunt Linda Miller Samuels, and one uncle LeRoy Davis.

He leaves to cherish his memories, one son Christopher Collins Jr. of El Dorado, AR, and Mother, Schell Thurman of El Dorado, AR. One brother Albert Thurman Jr. of El Dorado, AR; three sisters, Deadra Tubbs of Hot springs, AR, Oceanna Thurman, and Tanakious (Koby) Burns, both of El Dorado, AR; grandmother Bobbie (William) Brown of Little Rock, AR, Grandfather Anderson Miller of El Dorado, AR. Five aunts, TyRhonda Modica, LaKenya Hill, Shronda (Alvin) Mitchell, Clara Miller, and Ida Faye Tidwell, all of El Dorado, AR; five uncles, Robert Miller, Freddie Miller, Billy Miller, Floyd Meeks, all of El Dorado, AR and Victor Levingston of Little Rock, AR. Two goddaughters, ShyAna and Sheyenne Reed of El Dorado, AR. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, co-workers, and dear friends.
