On July 9, 1970 Sammie J. Moore was blessed with a bundle of joy, Christopher LeMonte “Bubba” Moore. For 49 years Chris graced this world with his infectious smile and personality until our Heavenly Father called him home on Monday, May 18, 2020.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Fred & Frances Moore, and two special Aunt Irene Williams & Hazel Ceasar.
Chris leaves to forever cherish his fond memories to his loving mother Sammie J. Moore, his baby sister, Kashama Loggins, or “Francine” as he always called her, and his partner in crime, Roddy Ceaser. Although Chris never had any biological children he had two amazing nieces, Nike White and Kayla Hill that he always kept in line . . . LOL! Chris also leaves to cherish his memories, “Auntie!, Auntie!, Auntie”, Frances (Malachi) Yarbrough; cousins like sisters Jackie (Felton) Burgie whose name he would YELLLLL daily, Tamyra Moody, and Ta’Jani Thurman; cousins like brothers Shammon Burgie, Jarius Burgie, and Tra Cook.
Every Sunday morning you would find Chris attending Sunday school and worship at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, where he loved to listen to the choir rock down the house under the direction of his favorite person Jaymes Thomas. On fall Friday nights you would see Chris cheering on his Wildcats at Memorial Stadium. Chris also enjoyed playing with his blocks (don’t touch), Connect 4 (don’t touch), and watching church videos on Facebook (please... don’t touch). Oh yeah, please don’t leave out his DVD Player.
Chris will be missed by his extended family, church family, and his Fordville family.
