Carolyn Cobb

Ms. Carolyn Lynn Cobb was born November 26, 1964, in El Dorado, AR, the daughter of The Late Jimmy Junior Cobb and the Late Georgia Mae Bassett. Carolyn accepted Christ at an early age and joined St John Missionary Baptist Church in El Dorado, AR. She received her formal education at El Dorado High School in El Dorado, AR. Carolyn later traveled to Detroit, MI, where she lived for several years.

Carolyn returned to El Dorado, Arkansas, where she gave birth to her first son Derek Cobb January 5, 1990. In 1993 Carolyn met Charles Townsend of El Dorado, AR. They share a son, Jason Townsend, born July 4, 1997. Her favorite hobbies included cooking, traveling, spending time with family and friends, watching football, and caring for her grandchildren.

Cobb is preceded in death by her Father, Jimmy Junior Cobb. Mother Georgia Mae Bassett, daughter Sherico Davis, Sister Helen Watley, cousins Vickie Cobb and Christopher Paul Thomas, and Fancy Cobb "Dog."

She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Derek Cobb and Jason Townsend, Both of El Dorado, AR., and one daughter Sassy Face Cobb of El Dorado, AR. Two brothers James Lovell "Keisha" Moore of Perris, CA, and Willie Cobb Jr, of Buffalo, NY. Three sisters Frankie Springer, Of El Dorado, AR. Mary Annett Cobb of Sacramento, CA. Margaret Ann Cobb of Buffalo, NY. Five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. And a host of other relatives and friends.
