He attended schools in the El Dorado School District.

He married Sharon K. Talley on July 17, 2001. He worked at Coca-Cola Bottling Co., KFC, Cooks Fish Market, S & S Motors, and Teeter Honda.

Carl Brown Jr. is preceded in death by his parents, Carl Brown Sr. and Jerlene Brown, Brother James E. Brown, and Two sisters Carene Brown and Annette Brown.

Carl Brown Jr. is survived by his spouse Sharon K. Brown, son, Carl Brown III (Lapresha), Daughter Mazie Brown- Billings (Rico), stepchildren Brian Talley (Shkeaya) Algernon Beckless; Drake Beckless (Amber), Adrean Beckless (Tyrea); sister Gwinderline Williams (Desoto, Tx); fourteen grandchildren, one uncle, Joe Richmond, one aunt Mae Francis Alderson and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
