Brian Williams

Deacon Brian Mason Williams passed away on July 13, 2024, at Baptist Health in Little Rock, AR, after a short illness. He was 51 years old.

Brian was born on January 1, 1973, in Laurel, Mississippi, to Earnest Mason Sr. and Carolyn Williams. He was the fourth of six children. He was baptized at a young age and later rebaptized after moving to El Dorado, Arkansas, at Christ Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Robert Cunningham. In 1976, Brian's Biological mother passed away, and his aunt Katherine Williams raised him and his five siblings as her own. She became a Mother to all six.

At Hoover High, Brian's athleticism shone through as he excelled in football and wrestling. His dedication to his studies and sports culminated in his graduation in 1991, the same year he enlisted in the 2nd Battalion 24 Marines Corps.

He later enrolled and attended college at Jackson State University.

In 2019, Brian moved from Jackson, Mississippi, to El Dorado, Arkansas, where he was the General Manager of Billy Wood Honda. Later in the year, he met the love of his life, Brea Ford. He was already the father of three beautiful young ladies, Andrienne, Jakyra, and Asia Williams. On July 3, 2021, Brian and Brea united in Holy Matrimony, and to this union, another beautiful girl was born, Serenity Jernay Williams.

Brian was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, deacon, and faithful Christ Missionary Baptist Church member. He was a child of God! He held several church offices: deacon, on the deacon board, trustee Announcer, and choir leader.

Brian's love and care extended beyond his immediate family. He was a great provider and an awesome stepfather to Jamari, Tristan, and Braylen. His love knew no bounds, and he cherished every moment with his family. Brian was also a member of the Masonic Lodge St. Mark #176.

Brian was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and brother, Cornell Williams.

Brian's passing leaves a void in the lives of many. He is survived by his loving wife, Brea Williams; his daughters, Serenity Jernay Williams, Andrienne Williams of Bentonville, AR, Jakyra Williams, and Asia Williams of Byrum, MS; and his sons, Jamari Robinson, Tristian Turner, and Braylen Turner, all of El Dorado, AR, his mother, Katherine C. Brian's memory will be cherished by his bonus grandparents, Robert & Jerline Cunningham; bonus parents, Kimberly (Danny) Gray and Tony (Denita) Ford; his special friends, TJ Talton, Kelvin Hooper, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
