Billy Wayne Smith

Billy Wayne "Dollar" Smith was born on October 4, 1972, in El Dorado, Arkansas, to the late Lee Roy Smith and Eva Mae Ford. On August 5, 2026, he peacefully departed this life, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

At an early age, Billy accepted Christ and became a member of Sweet Home Church in Spearsville, Louisiana. His faith remained an important part of his life.

Billy attended El Dorado High School and later worked for Clean Air in Houston, Texas. He was known as a hardworking and dedicated man who took pride in everything he did.

Affectionately known as "Dollar," Billy was well known for his outgoing personality and his love for life. He enjoyed fishing, playing dominoes, looking good, and smelling good. Whether he was spending time with family, laughing with friends, or enjoying his favorite hobbies, Billy had a way of bringing joy to those around him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Roy Smith and Eva Mae Ford; his brother, Willie Earl Ford; his sister, Melissa Ford; his grandmother, Braille Moses; and his grandfather, Pretzel Ford.

Billy leaves to cherish his precious memory his loving wife, Kathy Poole Smith; his children, Antonio Williams of Little Rock, Arkansas, Jaquobi Cook (Marnaya), Rochinale Davis of El Dorado, Arkansas, Shameka Nash of Arlington, Texas, Eboni Smith of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Demarez Smith of Camden, Arkansas; his brothers, Gerald Lamont Ford of El Dorado, Arkansas, and Lawrence Lee Tell; his sister, Patricia Redifer; his grandchildren, Jaquobi Cook, Jr., Bella Cook, and Kaielyn Cook; his special grandchild, Zendaya Johnson; his nephews, Patrick Redifer of Stockton, California, and Jelari R. Dailey of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his special brother, Larry Lockett; his special cousin, Roland Stringfellow; his special son, Jobe Dillian; his special aunt and uncle, Mary Jackson (Tez) and Curtis Moses of Farmerville, Louisiana; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Though Billy is no longer with us, his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His laughter, love, and unique spirit will never be forgotten.
