Arthur McHenry

Arthur "Joe T" McHenry was born on August 10, 1941, to the late Arthur McHenry, Sr. and Lillie Mae Meeks Brown in El Dorado, Arkansas.

He united with Holy Redeemer Catholic Church at a young age. He worked at Warner Brown Hospital as an orderly. He also worked at Georgia Pacific as a plant worker. He was a respected member of the Masonic Lodge and the Order of the Eastern Star.

He transitioned from this life on March 29, 2026, at Herman House in Sperry, Oklahoma.

He leaves to cherish his memory two sons and one daughter: Joe Vinsen McHenry (Arlene) of Okmulgee, Oklahoma; Darin Dismuke (Connie) of DeWitt, Michigan; and LaCresia McHenry Wood (Rose) of Columbia, South Carolina; one brother, Bruce McHenry of Little Rock, Arkansas; one sister, Dianne McHenry of Oxford, Mississippi; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; his companion of many years, Julia Wade; along with a host of other relatives, extended family, and friends.
