Annie Brock

November 17, 1951 — June 10, 2026

On November 17, 1951, Willie Roy "Shang" Williams and Gracie Lee Williams welcomed their seventh child, a daughter born on her mother's birthday, into the world. They named her Annie Dean.

She grew up in a loving home with eight siblings: Carl Roy, Willie Vell, Chester, Lester, Charles, Ray, Eloise, Linda, and her surviving sister, Gladys.

Annie was baptized at an early age at Olive Branch Baptist Church, where she attended until adulthood.

On August 27, 1977, Annie married Charles Danny Brock. Their union was blessed with three children: Rosalyn Camille Brock, Charles Omar Brock, and Chaffin Edwin Brock.

Annie's passion was cooking-it was her love language. During the holidays, if you were alone, she welcomed you into her home, fed you, and made sure you had plenty to take home. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she nurtured both spiritually and physically.

She loved sports, especially the Golden State Warriors. For more than 30 years, Annie worked at the El Dorado Golf & Country Club, where she served many people with pride and dedication.

Annie was a devoted member of Victory Bible Church in El Dorado, Arkansas, until her health declined. Under the leadership of Pastor Rory Green and Apostle Ruby Green, she continued to grow in faith and service.

On June 10, 2026, Annie was peacefully called home from her residence, surrounded by the love and gratitude of her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gracie Lee Williams and Willie Roy Williams; her brothers, Carl Roy Williams, Willie Vell Williams, Chester Williams, Lester Williams, Charles Williams, and Ray Williams; and her sisters, Linda Easter and Eloise Mason.

Annie leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 49 years, Charles Danny Brock; her daughter, Rosalyn Brooks; her sons, Charles Omar Brock and Chaffin Brock; her daughter-in-law, Faith Brock; her sister, Gladys Christian; her honorary daughter, Sharneka "Butter Cup" Braggs; her grandchildren, Javontes Jay Miller, Jakobe Brooks, James Tyler Gulley, Javon White, Brooklyn Brock, Bronson Brock, Joshua Isaiah Brock, Caleb Josiah Brock, Joy Angel Brock, Micah Seth Brock, Chaffin Brock Jr., Andrew McCormick, and Kailo Tyce Brock; her great-grandchildren, Ethan Nehemiah Stokes and Journi White; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, church family, classmates, and friends, including the Washington High School Class of 1969.
