Alvin Armstrong was born January 2,1953, to the union of Vera Dawson Armstrong and Lura Armstrong. He gained his wings on October 12, 2020. Alvin attended school in Louisiana and Cleveland, Ohio. He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of St. John Baptist Church. He moved to Cleveland, Ohio with his mother in 1963. He then moved to Houston, Texas in the 1990s with Pearl and Robert Turner, where he resided until God called him home. He loved to watch cowboy movies, his favorite was Gunsmoke and Rifleman.
Alvin is preceded in death by his parents, Vera Dawson Armstrong and Lura Armstrong, two brothers, Bobbie L. Armstrong, Robert E. Armstrong, one sister, Dorothy N. Sims, one grandson, Timothy L. Tramble Jr., and one brother in law.
Alvin leaves to cherish his memories one daughter, Latrice Tramble (Timothy), one granddaughter Tierra L. Tramble, all of Cleveland, Oh, Three sisters, Patsy Holmes (Sandy), Betty Armstrong, and Earlene Branch, all of El Dorado, Arkansas, two brothers, James R. Armstrong (Elaine) Jewel Armstrong (Betty Ruth) and a host of Relatives, nieces, nephews, and friends, and also dearly special friend Miss Clara Holmes.
