Alicia Maria Sturges was born on October 1, 1963, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Ruth E. Williams and the late Robert S. Milner. She departed this life at South Arkansas Regional Medical Center in El Dorado, AR, on November 20, 2025.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Ruth E. Williams; her father, Robert S. Milner; and her nephew, Jeffrey Jamal Tyler McKinney.
Alicia obtained her diploma and accounting degree at Oil Belt in El Dorado, AR. She then went into the clerical field, where she was the sole administrative assistant for RC&D (Resource Conservation and Development). Vibrant, Unique, and full of life, those who encountered and knew Alicia would say she left a mark in some kind of way. A woman who never met a stranger, pouring into others effortlessly. She will be remembered for her encouraging words, sincere heart, and, most importantly, compassion for others.
Alicia leaves to cherish her memories: her daughters, Nicole S. McKinney and Domonique M. Sturges; her grandchildren, Charity N. Rester, Asia M. Gray, Kynnedi Robinson, Jayce Ramey and Elijah Jamal. Her brother, Eric McKinney, sister-in-law, Lolita McKinney, nephews Jalen Marable, Jeremy McKinney, niece Alyssa M. McKinney. Her Aunt Velma Osborn, Uncle Eddie Joe Osborn, Aunt Connie McKinney, and, last but not least, a host of NA and AA members from El Dorado and surrounding areas, whom she loved dearly, along with countless friends who loved her the same.
"We are Confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord" 2 Corinthians 5:8.
