Annie Dell Jackson

Sis. Annie Dell Jackson was born on August 29, 1937 in Union County, Arkansas, the daughter of Willie H. and Willie Mae Morgan Paige. She was a dedicated mother and wife. She loved her children very much. Sis. Jackson was a faithful member of the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, El Dorado, Arkansas. She was also a member of the Derrick City Elks #352. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons, one sister and one grandson. She departed this life on Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at her residence. She leaves to cherish her loving memories, four sons, Rev. Kevin Jackson of Augusta, South Carolina, James Jackson, Terry Jackson and Calvin Jackson all of El Dorado, Arkansas; four daughters, Brenda Tims of Gainville, Georgia, Marjorie Davis, Cecelia Jackson, Angela Jackson all of El Dorado, Arkansas; one brother, Calvin Paige of El Dorado, Arkansas; three sisters, Dorothy Turner of Rockford, Illinois, Jeraldine Jackson and Nora Clark both of El Dorado, Arkansas; 24 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. A host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Homegoing services for Sis. Jackson will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2006 at 11:30 a.m. at the Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, El Dorado, Arkansas with the Rev. John Elliott officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery under the direction of The Sims Mortuary Staff. Visitation will be at the Funeral Home, Friday, September 8, 2006 from 9:00am-5:30pm and Saturday, September 9, 2006 from 8:00-9:00am. The family will be at the home of Mrs. Marjorie Davis, 707 Short Wilson, El Dorado, Arkansas.
