Rosie Lee Craven

Sis. Rosie Lee Craven was born on February 23, 1912, in Camden, Arkansas, the daughter of Eli and Elizer Miles Miner. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Sis. Craven departed this life on August 28, 2006 in Oakridge Nursing Home, El Dorado, Arkansas. She was a very faithful member of the First St. James Baptist Church where she served on the Missionary Society, Circle Bentley and Circle Thompson. She was a dedicated Sunday School Teacher for Class #2. She was a a member of Derrick City Temple #352. She leaves to cherish her memories her devoted caregiver, Betty Roberson of El Dorado, Arkansas. A host of relatives and friends and her Church Family.. Homegoing services for Sis. Craven will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2006 in the Sims Mortuary Chapel, 432 Liberty Street, El Dorado, Arkansas with the Rev. R. C. Aaron officiating. Interment will follow in the Beulah Grove Cemetery under the direction of The Sims Mortuary Staff. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 30, 2006 from 1:00-5:30pm and Thursday, August 31, 2006 from 9:00-10:00am. The family will receive friends at the home of Mrs. Betty Roberson, 138 Union 404, El Dorado, Arkansas.
