Mattie Lee Ford Heath

Sis. Mattie Lee Ford Heath was born on March 8, 1939 in Junction City, Arkansas, the daughter of Ernest and Luela Dunn Speaks. She was married in holy matrimony to Joe Nathan Ford and to this union three children were born, Billy Joe, Billy Ray and Loretta. She later married Billy Joe Heath to this union one son was born, Ronald. Sis. Heath was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, five sisters, Ruthie Newton, Lucy Walters, Betty Powell, Ocie Bravefields and Rosie Allison; Two grandsons, Timothy Reed and Dale Ford. She departed this life on Monday, August 21, 2006 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas, El Dorado, Arkansas. She leaves to cherish her memories, three sons, Billy Joe Ford of Los Angeles, California, Billy Ray Ford, his wife, Mary and Ronald Heath, his wife Bernadine, both of Rockford, Illinois; one daughter, Loretta Ford Andrews, her husband, Franklin, of El Dorado, Arkansas; two brothers, Ernest Speaks, Jr. and Jewell Speaks both of Harvey, Illinois; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Homegoing Services will be held on Monday, August 28, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sims Mortuary Chapel, 432 Liberty Street, El Dorado, Arkansas with the Rev. Felton Burgie officiating. Interment will follow in the Arlington Cemetery, El Dorado, Arkansas under the direction of The Sims Mortuary Staff. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2006 from 2:00-6:00pm. A wake will be held on Sunday, from 6:00-7:00pm in the Sims Mortuary Chapel. The family will be at 1017 E&B Street, El Dorado, Arkansas.
