Rosie Lee Miles

Sis. Rosie Lee Miles was born on January 15, 1941 in Junction City, Arkansas, the daughter of Albert and Selma Boone Henry. She departed this life after a lengthy illness on August 12, 2006 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. Rosie was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Keith Anthony Miles and Berry Lee Miles; one daughter, Vicki Renee Miles; one brother, Alvin Henry;two sisters, Ollie F. Henry and Lois J. Henry. Rosie married M.C. Miles of Junction City, to that union seven children were born. She was a dedicated wife and mother. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church, Junction City, Arkanas where she served as Sunday School Teacher and was a member of the Missionary Society. She was also a Easter Star. She remained faithful until her sickness. She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, M.C. Miles of Junction City, Arkansas, Three sons, Michael Henry of Dallas, Texas, Rev. Charles R. Henry(Sharon) and Marvin Miles both of El Dorado, Arkansas; One daughter, Tiffany Wade(Dewayne) of Junction City, Arkansas; One brother, Jessie J. Henry of El Dorado, AR; Four sisters, Verda B. Nelson and Bessie M. Miles both of El Dorado, Arkansas, Flossie Hildreth and Shirley Miller both of Los Angeles, California; 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A special niece, Mary George. A host of relatives and friends. Homegoing Services for Sis. Miles will be held on Friday, August 18, 2006 at Salem Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Charles R. Henry officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery under the direction of The Sims Mortuary Staff. Visitation will be at the Funeral Home on Thursday, August 17, 2006 from 9:00a.m.-5:30p.m. No visitation on Friday. The family will receive friends at 2700 Salem Road, Junction City, Arkansas.
