Almetter Goree

"The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want..."Psalms3 Almetter Goree was born on March 26, 1931 in Crossett, Arkansas the daughter of Bob and Nannie Stamps Goree. She departed this life on November 19, 2009 at the Jefferson Regional Health Center in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She was a member of Westside Church of Christ in Crossett, Arkansas. She worked as a Cook. Almetter was preceded in death by her by her parents, several brothers and sisters. She leaves to cherish her memories, a brother James Goree and a sister Juanita Perkins both of Crossett. Funeral services for Mrs. Goree will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Westside Church of Christ, Crossett, Arkansas with Rev. Joe Hardin officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery, Crossett, Arkansas under the direction of the Sims Mortuary Staff. Vistation at the funeral home will be Friday, November 27, 2009 from 9am-5pm.
