Dixie L. Thrower

Dixie L. Newton Thrower, 88, of Bearden, AR passed on January 20, 2018 at her home in Bearden, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Rev. DeCota and Georgia Newton. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Cook and four Siblings. She is survived by five children: Patricia Quarles, Anthony Thrower, Nancy Collins, Lawrence Collins and Natalie Collins; and one sister, Jeanette Jones. Public visitation will be Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. -5:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home Van Buren, 119 Van Buren Street. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 26, 2018 at the F. O. Jones Christian Center in Bearden with the Bishop Chester Thompson, officiating.
