(Owana) Retha Mae Riley was born on April 3, 1951 in Union County, Arkansas, the daughter of J.D. and Aretha Thompson Young. She was formerly of Hot Springs, Arkansas. She departed this life on Monday, June 5, 2006 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. She was a member of the Ebeneezer Baptist Church, Strong, Arkansas. She was employed at the Medical Center of South Arkansas before she became ill. Sis. Riley was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother. She leaves to cherish her loving memories: Three sons, Anthonia Riley, Bobby Ray Riley and Allen Riley all of Hot Springs, AR; One daughter, Consuella Riley of El Dorado, AR; One brother, Joe Young, Jr. of Hot Springs, AR; Four sisters, Vivian Ann Young, Emma Jean Young both of Chicago, IL, Rev. Bonnie J. Montford of Woodstock, GA and Kathy Young of Pine Bluff, AR; fifteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Homegoing Services for Sis. Riley will be held on Friday, June 9, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Ward Chapel C.M.E. Church, Strong, AR. with the Rev. A.L. Harris officiating. Interment will follow in the Ward Chapel Cemetery under the direction of The Sims Mortuary Staff. Visitation will be at the Funeral Home on Thursday, June 8, 2006 from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at 104 Midway, El Dorado, AR.
