Allie Mae Belin

Mrs. Allie M. Belin was born October 20, 1938 to Emanuel and Arnes McGhee in Calion, Arkansas. Allie Mae accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized uniting with New Home Baptist Church, later joining Willow Grove Baptist Church. Over the years, she was actively involved in various activities at the church including Kitchen Committee, Church Mother, and she was a member of the Order of Eastern Star until her health failed. She was a fun-loving person who loved her children and family dearly. She had a special bond with her brothers. She enjoyed the many, many hours spent with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grand-children. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emanual & Arnes McGhee; her husband, Earl Belin; brothers, Cleo McGhee, Calvin McGhee, Jacob Mcghee, OB Pumphrey, Prentis McGhee and OD McGhee and a great granddaughter, Janicia Jackson. She leaves to cherish her memories five daughters; Linda (Larry ) Tate, AR, Rita Maxwell of El Dorado, AR, Sheila (Stacy) Ward of Hampton, AR, Sherry (Don) Marshall of Calion, AR, and Sonya Williams of Hampton, AR; four sons, Robert (Beverly) McGhee of Toledo, OH, Barry (Fredia) McGhee of Calion, AR, Tony (Teresa) McGhee of El Dorado, AR, Keith (Kristi) Purifoy of Calion, AR; two brothers, Mc McGhee (Erma) of Toledo, OH, Emanual (Judy) McGhee of Springfield, MO; 28 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. And a host of nieces and nephews. Services will be at 11:00 am Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Willow Grove Baptist Church in Calion with Bishop M.C. McGhee officiating. Interment will be in Pickett Cemetery under the direction of Sims Mortuary.
