James Warren Mitchell

On September 15, 2017, Angels escorted a loving soul of James W. Mitchell to his heavenly home. He was the son of the late Calvin Mitchell and Fannie Lee Talley born on August 12, 1946 in El Dorado, Ar. His parents, step father, Otis Thompson, two brothers, Calvin Mitchell, and Larry White, and one daughter, Rhonda Mitchell Sims all preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Regena Mitchell Phillips (Robert), and Pamela Mitchell Murphy both of Little Rock, Ar., six brothers, Roy Mitchell, Alvin Mitchell, Jimmy Mitchell, Richard Williams, Kenneth Mitchell, and Eddie Lyons all of El Dorado, Ar., and one sister, Ernestine White of Smackover Ar. He also leaves ten grandchildren, Artenius, Antonio, Angel, Carlos, Jessica, Kashadia, Zantha, Desiree’, Keiera, and Destinee; four great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A very special and heartfelt thank you goes out to his favorite niece and nephew, Ruthie Love and Keith White for all their love and attention during his transition, to all the members of his club that he loved so much, and to the staff of Life Touch Hospice. Public visitation will be from 4-5 pm on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Sims Mortuary. Cremation services are provided by Sims Mortuary.
