Alan Keith Clark

Bro. Alan K Clark was born on January 30, 1964 to James Clark, Jr., and Dorothy Fikes – Clark. He departed this life on June 23, 2017 in Ouachita County, Arkansas. Alan accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age and was a member of the St. John Missionary Baptist Church. He was El Dorado High School Class of 1982 alumni. He participated in many sports while attending El Dorado High. Alan was a truck driver for Daniels Trucking L.L.C. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, and watching football and basketball games. Alan was the definition of life of the party. He enjoyed get-togethers and reunions. He leaves to cherish his memories, his two daughters, Keona Coleman of El Dorado AR, and Keianna Brown of Little Rock AR; three sisters, Jean Daniels, and Karen Mitchell (Frank) both El Dorado, Janice Massey of Denver CO; three brothers, Herbert Clark (Lena) and Reginald Clark of El Dorado AR, Jimmy Clark (Tinnie) Hamburg AR. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and numerous friends. His independent spirit, iron will and strong character will never be duplicated, but leaves an impression on the lives of those he touched and enriched along this life’s journey. Public visitation will be Friday, June 30, 2017 from 12 noon - 6 pm at Sims Mortuary. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at St. John Baptist Church with Pastor Barry Dobson, eulogist. Cremation services are under the direction of Sims Mortuary.
