Sister Viola Palmer was born November 2, 1912 to the late Allen and Lucinda Daniels Nunley. At a early age she united with Mt. Willie M.B.C., where she served on the Usher Board. On September 10, 1928, in holy matrimony she united with A.C. Palmer and to this union 10 children were born. She later united with the Beulah Grove M.B.C., where she served as a Sunday school teacher and she was also was involved in the Mission Ministry. She was a very active and dedicated member of Beulah Grove for over 59 years until her health would not allow her to attend. She loved going to church, trusting and praising the Lord. She was preceded in death by her parents Allen and Lucinda Nunley and her step mother Onie Garrett Nunley; four sons, Willie D. Palmer, Grady Palmer, Raymond Palmer, and Jerry Palmer; three sisters Leola Davis, Nellie Jackson, Modell Aldridge and one brother Johnnie B. Nunley. She leaves to cherish her memory, three daughters, Lucy Dunwood of El Dorado, AR, Eula Davis of Wesson, AR, and Ira Mijares, of Los Angeles, CA, three sons, Robert Palmer of El Segundo, CA, Floyd Palmer of Mt. Willie, AR, Charles Ricky Palmer of El Dorado, AR. , five brothers George Nunley (Arma), Booker T. Nunley (Joanne), Franklin Nunley, Allen Nunley (Clara) and Henry Nunley. She also leaves her cherished memories to twenty six grand children, sixty great grand children, six great- great grand children and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Public visitation will be Friday, June 23, 2017 from 12 noon until 4:30 p.m. at Sims Mortuary with family hour from 5-6 p.m. at Beulah Grove Baptist Church. Funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Beulah Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Luther Harris, eulogist.
