Josie L Fudge

Sis. Josie L. Fudge was born on July 1, 1920, the daughter of Will and Lula Jones Whitfield of Little Rock, Arkansas. She accepted Christ at an early age and united with the Cherry Hill Baptist CHurch were she served with her parents and family throughout her chidhood. In 1989, she relocated to Calion, Arkansas and joined the Willow Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She served faithfully there under the leadership of Rev. Pete Lambert and Rev. Sheldon Williams until her health failed. Her parents, her husband; A. T. Fudge, three brothers and three sisters all precede her in death. Sis. Fudge departed this life on Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at her home. She leaves her beloved memory to her only daughter, Ernestine Curley(Andrew) of Calion, AR, One sister, Roberta Maxwell of Howardville, Missouri; Two grandsons, Richard McLaurin of El Dorado, AR and Andy Curley(Kim) of Calion, AR; Six granddaughters, Flechia Rester (Jerry) and Ashley Curley both of Calion, AR, LaTonya Davis and Shaneil "PJ" Yarbrough(Larry D.) both of El Dorado, AR and Latosha Heard(Earl D.) and LaTreace Curley-Burch(Keith) both of Little Rock, AR. She leaves nineteen great-grandchildren, a host of neices, nephews and many other relatives and friends will always cherish her precious memories. Homegoing Services for Sis. Josie will be, Monday, January 30, 2006, 1:00pm at the Willow Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Calion, AR. with the Rev. Sheldon Williams officiating. The body will lie in state at the church from noon until funeral time. Interment will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery, Norphlet, AR under the direction of The Sims Mortuary Staff. Visitation will be at the Funeral Home, Sunday, January 29, 2006 from 1:00-5:00pm. and Monday, January 30 from 8:30am-10:30am.
