Joyce Lanell Mack

"The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want" Sis. Joyce Lanell Mack was born on September 8, 1954 in El Dorado, Arkansas. She was the daughter of John and Ruby Carter Mack. She departed this life on August 29, 2008 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas in El Dorado, Arkansas. Joyce was a graduate of El Dorado High School. Joyce worked as a cook at Fairview Head Start. Her parents preceded her in death. Joyce leaves to cherish her loving memories, two sons, Michael Mack of El Dorado, Arkansas and Torrance Mack of Dallas, Texas; three daughters, LaShonda Mack and Patricia Mack both of El Dorado, Arkansas and LaTasha Mack of Dallas, Texas; one brother, Johnny M. Mack of Ypsilanti, Michigan; three sisters, Mary L. Marbray of Oakland, California, Bertha Young of Chicago, Illinois and Dorothy Trammell of Fordyce, Arkansas; seven grandchildren. A homegoing celebration for Joyce will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 11:00am at the Sims Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. William Jamerson officiating. Interment will follow in the Lott Burgy Cemetery, El Dorado, Arkansas under the direction of the Sims Mortuary Staff. Visitation at the funeral home will be held on Saturday from 8:30am until funeral time.
