Donnie Ray Russ, 62, died Monday, April 21, 2014, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.He was born on March 4, 1952, in Camden, to Isaiah Russ and Maeola Stephens. He attended Williams Dennis School in Rockford, Ill., and Smackover School and was a member of Sweet Canaan Missionary Baptist Church.He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Brenda Hinton.He is survived by three sons, James Love, Kevin Johnson and Bobby Bell Jr.; one daughter, Chasity Jameise Russ of El Dorado; and one stepdaughter, Coretta Love.Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Sweet Canaan Missionary Baptist Church in Smackover with the Rev. Anthony Traylor officiating. Interment will be in Sweet Canaan Cemetery in Smackover under the direction of the Sims Mortuary Staff.No visitation will be held at the funeral home.
