Marianetia Bullock ("Netia Bullock") Jones

Sister Marianetia Bullock("Netia Bullock')  was born  January 1,1952 in El Dorado, Arkansas , the daughter of Melvin Odell Bullock and  Geraldine Paige. Netia went to her heavenly home on Friday, March 28,2014 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas, El Dorado, Arkansas. At an early age , Netia united with New Bethel Baptist Church . She later moved her membership to Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church  for many years and finished her service with  St, John Missionary Baptist Church.She was raised in  the home of her loving and devoted grandparents , Odell and Lola B. Bullock.  Netia was graduate of Washington High School Class of 1969 and later attend Henderson State University . She was a dedicated educator who believed in the values of discipline and hard work. Netia rarley met a stranger, as evidenced by the vast number of people she knew and made over the years.  She was known for speaking her mind and freely expressing herself.  She dearly loved her family, especially her three grandsons whom she constantly spoke of to others . Most of all she loved God .Netia united in holy matrimony to Jerry L. Jones, Sr.. on September 11,1971 in El Dorado,Arkansas. To this union a daugther was born, Kristy K  Jones.Netia was preceded in death by her parents , Mevin Odell Bullock and Geraldine Paige  Jackson , her Uncle , Melton Bullock ,and brother ,Lonnie Bullock.Netia leaves to cherisa her loving memory, her stepfaather, Willie Jackson,Sr. , of El Dorado, Arkansas, her  daugther, Kristy Caldwell (Tim) , and grandchildren , Carlton (CJ) Shutes, Jr., Jaylon and Brandon Williams of North Little Rock , Arkansas ; Three sisters , Cynthia D. Williams of  El Dorado, Arkansas Pamela Jackson of Oberlin , Ohio and Alice Bullock of Dallas, Texas. Brothers , Melvin L . Bullock of Oaland , California, Willie Jackson Jr. (Shelia ) Larry Jackson, Darry Jackson (Erma), and Russell Jackson of El Dorado, Arkansas, Jerry Jackson of Springdale,Arkansas, and Michael Jackson of Lithonia, Georgia, Reverend Dwight Bullock (Charlene) of, Brown Deer, Wisconsin, Melvin D . Bullock ( Wendy) of El Dorado, Arkansas ; and Demetrius Bullock of Leesville, Louisiana. She also leaves a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces other relatives and friends.Visitation at the funeral home will be Friday, April 4 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m   with family hour 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 5 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.Homegoing will be held  at  11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 5 at St .John Missionary Baptist Church 1018 East Eildon Street, El Dorado, Arkasnas. Rev. Barry Dobson Officiant.Interment will be in Mt.Olive Cemetery in Summerfield,Louisiana.
