Linda Faye Robinson

Linda Faye Curley Robinson was born on May 25, 1951 in El Dorado, AR the daughter of John A. Curley and Nora Moore. At an early age, she united with St. John Missionary Baptist Church in El Dorado, AR. She was an active member and served faithfully until her health declined. Many years ago, she met Mr. Baby Ray Robinson and on May 23, 1981 they became husband and wife. They soon started their family and sons Antoine Demetrius and Anthony Tremaine, as well as a stepson Reggie Freeman were the result. Linda was a homemaker and also held various work positions throughout the years. She retired from ConAgra Industries, El Dorado, AR. She was preceded in death by her parents, John A. Curley and Nora Moore; two brothers, Jimmie Jr. Cobb and Tommy Lee Cobb. She departed this life on February 26, 2014 at John R. Williamson Hospice House, El Dorado, AR. Linda leaves her loving memories to her husband, Baby Ray Robinson of El Dorado, AR, three children, Antoine, Anthony and Reggie; 11 grandchildren; one brother Willie Lee(Dorothy)Curley; five sisters, Margie(Joe)Cameron, Betty Sue(Willie)Canady, Betty Jean Jackson, Ruth Ann(Jerry) Morris and Rose(Wendell)McLeroy of Detroit, MI and host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Visitation at the funeral home will be Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 9:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m. and Friday, March 7, 2014 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. A Homegoing celebration for Linda will be held on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Barry Dobson pastor and officiant. Interment will follow in the Lott Burgy Cemetery, El Dorado, AR under the direction of the Sims Mortuary Staff.
