Bobbie Jean Burgie- Gatson

A golden heart stopped beating,hardworking hands laid to rest,and God broke our heart to prove to us that He only takes the best. Bobbie Jean Burgie Gaston was born July 23,1947 in Smackover,Arkansas to the late R.B. and Leola Palmore Burgie. She was a member of the Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church #2 . She was a 1965 graduate of Smackover Training School . She was preceded in death by her parents , husband Rev.Robert Gaston, grandparents,and one uncle L.C. Palmore Bobbie found memories will be forever cherished by her Daughter Trience Kilgore of Smakover,Arkansas ,three sons Anthony Johson of El Dorado ,Arkansas, Aundra Johson of Smackover,Arkansas,Melvin Johnson Jr. of Camden,Arkansas ,and Ten Step Children. One sister Bettye Burgie of Smackover,Arkansas ,Four brothers Jerry Burgie ,Carl Burgie,Berry Burgie all of El Dorado,Arkansas ,Clarence Burgie of Northville,Michigan . Seven grand-children and one great grand-child and a host of nieces,nephews,cousins and friends. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Friday, July, 26, 2013 and on Saturday July 27 ,2013 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. . A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 p.m. on Saturday,July,27,2013 at Mt.Zion Lisbon Missionary Baptist Church with Rev.Felton Burgie officiating. .Burial will follow in Mt.Zion Lisbon Cemetery The Family will assemble at the home of Betty Sue Burgie at 1929 Lisbon Rd.
