Floria Dorch

Sis. Floria Dorch was born October 22, 1911, in Junction City, Arkansas to Columbus and Rosanna Hogan Dismuke. She was the first born into the union of six children. She attended school in Union County. In 1929 she united in Holy Matrimony to James Jones of Upland and to this union five children were born. Her parents,her husband, one brother, B.C. Dismuke and two sisters: Alma Dismuke and Mattie Bea Creer precede her in death. She leaves to cherish her memories: Two sons, James Jones, Jr. of El Dorado, Arkansas, and Lawrence Jones of Denver, Colorado; Three daughters, Urseleane Simon of Bellflower, California, Zenobia Orr of Los Angeles, California and Sara Jones of El Dorado, Arkansas. Two sisters; Annie Garfey of Oakland, California and Alice Logan of Richmond, California. She also leaves twenty-six grandchildren, thiry-eight great-grandchildren and fifty great-great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends. Homegoing services will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2005, 11:00a.m. at Ebenezzer Baptist Church, Junction City, Arkansas, under the direction of Sims Mortuary Staff. Burial will follow in the Ebenezzer Cemetery, Caledonia Community, Junction City, Arkansas. The family will celebrate with friends at the home of Sara Jones, 533 E& B Street, El Dorado, Arkansas.
