Muriel Livingston

"The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.." Psalms 23 Muriel Livingston was bron on September 21, 1944 in Junction City, Arkansas, the daughter of Artis and Lillie Ross Brown. She departed this life on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 in Medical Center of South Arkansas, El Dorado, Arkansas. She was a member of New Mt. Union Baptist Church, Junction City, Arkansas. She worked for years at J & M Poultry Company in El Dorado, Arkansas. Muriel was preceded in death by her parents,a son, Virgil Sapp, a daughter, Martrice Brown, a grandson, Roger Phillips and a brother, Paul Brown, Sr. She leaves to cherish her loving memories, her husband Vergil Livingston of Junction City, Arkansas, a son, Sidney Sturkey of Atlanta, Georgia, a daughter, Janice Meeks of El Dorado, Arkansas, a brother, Howard Brown of Ruston, Louisiana, two sisters, Pauline Henry of El Dorado, Arkansas and Patricia Benton of Strong, Arkansas, 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A Homegoing Celebration for Muriel will be held on Friday, January 13, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at New Mt. Union Baptist Church, Junction City, Arkansas with Rev. Doug Marsh officiating. Interment will follow in the Community Cemetery, Junction City, Arkansas under the direction of the Sims Mortuary Staff.
