Joann Menon Davis

"The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want..." Psalms 23 Joann Menon Davis was born on February 9, 1944 in El Dorado, Arkansas to Roy and Hazel Watkins Menon. She departed this life on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at University of Arkansas Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker until her health began to decline. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Johnny Davis, two loving sisters, Ruthie Lee(Petey) Menon and Patsy Jean Menon Barnes. Those left to cherish her loving memories, two sons, Johnny Davis of Village, Arkansas and Tony Davis of El Dorado, Arkansas; a loving sister Dorothy Kilgore Sapp of El Dorado, Arkansas; one grandchild and one great grandchild both of Dallas, Texas. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Damascus Cemetery, Village, Arkansas under the directions of the Sims Morutary Staff. There will be no visitation at the funeral home or at the service. The family will receive friends at 1303 East Barnes, El Dorado, Arkansas.
