Margie Stevens

"The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want..." Psalms 23 Margie Samuel Stevens was born July 15, 1922 in El Dorado, Arkansas to Amos and Nettie Minton Samuel. She departed this life on August 26, 2011 at Oakridge Nursing Home. She was united in marriage to Raul Stevens. No children were born to this union. She united with Longview Baptist Church, Calion, Arkansas at an early age and remained a faithful member until her health failed. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, seven brothers and three sisters. She leaves to cherish her memory her nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and a host other relatives and friends. A homegoing ceremony for Mrs. Stevens will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, El Dorado with Rev. James E. Wright officiating. Interment will follow in the Lott Burgy Cemetery under the direction of the Sims Mortuary Staff.
