Albert Charles Lee

"The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want...Psalms 23 Albert Charles Lee, Sr. known as A.C. was born in Mt. Holly, Arkansas on March 14, 1939 to Roosevet and Berry Raymond Lee. He was a member of New Olive Branch Baptist Church, El Dorado, Arkansas. A. C. was employed as a Gravedigger and worked many tireless days helping others. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, J. C. Lee and Oscar Lee, a sister Idell Oliver and a son Albert C. Lee, Jr. He leaves to cherish his loving memories his wife Marilyn Sue Lee of Smackover, Arkansas, one son David A. Lee of Monticello, Arkansas and three stepsons Arvin and Andrew Alexander of Texas and Willie Jones; four daughters Lisa K. Lee and Breana Glosson both of El Dorado, Arkansas, Alisha R. Lee of Arlington, Texas; Azania Lee of Mississippi and one stepdaughter Melinda Thurman of San Antonio, Texas; two brothers Jackie Lee of El Dorado, Arkanss and Roosevelt Lee, Jr. of Oakland, California; two sisters Bobbie Dell Mitchell of Shreveport, Louisiana and Helen Williams of Aurora, California. A favorite brother in law L. G. Oliver and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. A Homegoing Celebration for A.C. will be held on Friday, April 1, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the New Olive Branch Baptist Church with Rev. James Shutes officiating. Interment will follow in the Sweet Cannaan Cemetery under the direction of the Sims Mortuary Staff.
